inhus are a certificated approved installer of Firestone EDPM.
The roof material used is EPDM or Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer is a
synthetic rubber material, made by Firestone. We have chosen this to
guarantee a water tight roof for 25 years. The EPDM is a one piece roof
sheet that means, no joins, no nails, no tears, no leaks, no
maintenance, this means you can sleep safely at night in any weather.
Using the EDPM system we can also offer an Eco-friendly green roof
system if required, using low maintenance planting such as sedums
(succulents) and indigenous herbs and grasses which provide excellent
cover and increased protection to the waterproofing system.
inhus have installed Firestonew EDPM all over the uk.

EDPM Benifits are clear to see.
Proven for more than 40 years.
You can rely on EPDM Rubber roof because it's been successfully installed in he USA for over more than 40 years. Unlike many other "newer" materials to the UK. Globally, EPDM is the worlds most used single ply roofing membrane. Over one billion square metres of Firestone EPDM has been successfully installed, and its testimony to pure excellence.
Seamless - Completely reliable.
Most residential flat roofs are straightforward rectangles. This means we can install a single sheet of EPDM rubber to cover your entire roof area. This means you don't have to rely on seams to waterproof your roof. Infact sheets can come in sheets as large as 15m x 30m long.
Low cost, Best Material and Eco Friendly.
The installed price of your roof will probably be similar to that of a quality felt roof and significantly lower than other "newer" systems. So you can have a flat roof to rely on at an affordable price and also be very "green". For example, the conclusion of a report by ACTAC (the Association of Community Technical Aid Centres Limited) named EPDM as the best buy roofing membrane due to it's low enviromental impact in comparison to other membranes, high durability and re-usability. Greenpeace publication "Building The Future" names EPDM as the enviromentally friendly choice for roofing membranes. This is reflected by Firestone achieving the ISO14001 Certified Enviromental Management System implemented at all EPDM manufacturing plants.
Very low maintenance costs.
There should be no reason to maintain an EPDM Rubber roof. So long as the deck can withstand more weight you can even use an EPDM rubber roof as a garden or you can install paving on decking over it. All you will have to do is wipe clean the edge trims now and again.
Never perishes and remains flexible.
EPDM Rubber is UV and ozone stable so its never perishes. It stays flexible and so can move with the building unlike static installation systems.
Successful in very cold and hot climtaes EPDM.
Rubber is installed successfully in Alaska and in the Middle Eas. So UK weather is never a problem.
Very Safe to install.
The installation of EPDM is a cold lay technique so therefore there is no need for any heat requirement, thus reducing the risk and fires from felt laying.
Overlay means you save money.
You don't have to remove your old roof. EPDM rubber can be overlaid virtually any old roof so long as your roofing decking and joists are sound. This saves you money and saves the enviroment by reducing debris from the work.
Relible Installation.
Only inhus trained professionals can install the EPDM systems you are assured of a reliable installation from both a materials and installation point of view.
